Are you an adult learner?

Penn State's definition of an adult learner is a person who:

  • is 24 years of age or older; or
  • is a veteran of the armed services; or an active duty service member; or
  • is returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity; or assumes multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, and employee.

Your life. Your way.

You have a busy life. Commitments. Limited time. Maybe even limited resources. The idea of going back to college – or attending for the first time – recently made your priority list.

It’s time.

Working professionals looking to advance their careers, increase their earning potential through education, or even simply better themselves, deserve the kind of educational options Penn State delivers. Regardless of where you are in your life, continuing education is not only possible, it’s easier than you think. Undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs, and continuing education classes are all available to you. Your way.

What do you need to make it happen? Flexibility? Check. One-on-one support? Check. A variety of learning options? Check. Financial aid options? Also check.
