Are you communicating effectively with your Spanish speaking patients?

Spanish for Health Care Providers focuses on developing practical Spanish communication skills including medical terminology, greetings, common expressions, commands, and phrases normally used in a health care setting.

Students will be able to better assist and provide medical attention to patients in medical office settings and in hospitals. Learn vocabulary to get patient information including:

  • histories
  • medical insurance
  • other important information.

In addition to workplace Spanish, the course provides transcultural training.

No prior knowledge of Spanish is required.
